Marriott adds brands to Hotel Excellence training program

Marriott International has updated its 14-year-old Hotel Excellence training program. It now includes AC Hotels, Autograph Collection, Edition and Gaylord.

To publicize the updated training program, Marriott is entering all agents who take the training program for the first time or retake the Marriott Family of Brands modules into a drawing for several prizes. The drawings run through June 14.

The first prize is a five-night stay at one of 3,375 Marriott properties, plus airfare credit for two and a $500 gift card The second prize is a three-night stay at one of 3,000 Marriott properties; the third prize is a two-night stay at one of 1,000 Marriott properties.

In addition, Marriott will hold drawings twice a month to give away "Love Travel Agents" gift bags filled with goodies including Marriott Stay, Dine, Spa & Golf gift cards, as well as Bill Marriott’s book, "Without Reservations."

Hotel Excellence is offered in 10 languages, including Russian.
