Tourism Cares hosting industry event in Peru

Machu Picchu, Cusco and the Sacred Valley of Peru will be the sites for the first global outreach program of nonprofit organization Tourism Cares.

The initiative will take place May 3 to 7 with a five-day program in Peru designed to unite colleagues from travel companies in North America and Peru. Events will explore best practices to help preserve natural, cultural and historical sites in Peru.

Participation is open at three levels of commitment. The deadline for reservations is Feb. 24.
