Bill CancellareBill Cancellare Sr., 76, well-known travel industry photographer whose work frequently appeared in Travel Weekly, died May 12, following complications from a recent heart attack.

Cancellare covered industry conferences, functions and events for News Events Photo Service, the company launched in 1923 by his father, Joseph Cancellare. His son, Bill Cancellare Jr., continues in the business today.

Cancellare was often seen on the decks of cruise ships in New York in the 1960s, '70s and '80s, as well as on press trips and at events for travel suppliers, tour operators, tourist offices, hotels and both trade and consumer magazines.

Funeral arrangements are at Lieber Funeral Home, 266 North Central Ave., Valley Stream, N.Y. The family will receive guests on May 14 and 15.

There will be a funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 201 North Central Ave., Valley Stream, on May 16.
