Vacation.com is conducting a sales blitz in mid-Atlantic states to promote the refurbished Grandeur of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean ship that sails out of Baltimore.
On April 24 and 25, Vacation.com said 10 staff members will visit 100 member agencies within a 100-mile radius of Vacation.com’s headquarters in Alexandria, Va.
Vacation.com said it will visit agencies in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
“This is a unique opportunity for us to visit many of our member agencies in a very short time,” said Karin Viera, Vacation.com’s vice president of sales. “ We want to help them increase their sales by targeting specific clientele interested in an exceptional cruise vacation, and selecting sailings from a close-in homeport on the beautifully refurbished Grandeur of the Seas could do just that.”
Vacation.com agents are being offered a $100 cash bonus for booking four Royal Caribbean cruise vacations between now and May 15 for any sailings of at least five nights in April, May or June 2013. Clients must book an oceanview stateroom or higher category.
Royal Caribbean also is offering agents specialty dining for two and a $100 onboard credit on any cruise of at least five nights departing Aug. 1 through Nov. 30.
Plus, Vacation.com is offering agents $5 per booking on any Royal Caribbean cruise out of Baltimore booked using Vacation.com’s CruisePro booking tool.
