Vacation.com's exclusive member Web portal, Agent Universe, is now live at
www.agentuniverse.com.
The portal was first rolled out to members during the organization's annual conference in May.
Vacation.com said the new portal offers a robust website that allows members to quickly access exclusive Vacation.com programs, booking tools and supplier information.
Portal features include news alerts, a calendar of events and promotions, a live-chat function, plus a members-only community on Facebook, Vacation.com said.
In addition to direct links to Vacation.com suppliers, programs and training, Agent Universe also provides more robust reporting of an agency's supplier sales, administrative controls for the agency owner/manager and archived promotions.
Its technology includes customizable quick links, global site search functionality and more comprehensive, intuitive navigation menus on interior pages.
Members have been in training sessions through June, and more classes are scheduled through this month, Vacation.com said. Webinars are being recorded so members can access them at any time.
Vacation.com president John Lovell said, "Once our members understand how much easier this portal is to use, compared to our old one, they will be much more efficient in accessing and leveraging Vacation.com's marketing tools."
