YTB founder resigns in management shuffle

By Nadine Godwin

YTB International announced the appointment of Robert Van Patten as CEO and president of the company. At the same time, Lloyd "Coach" Tomer, the company's founder, resigned as a director and chairman.

YTB said Tomer will "focus on mentoring the sales force" and spend more time on YTB's philanthropic division, Passport to Giving.

Van Patten joined YTB last April as a consultant with the title of co-CEO.

Scott Tomer, who had been co-CEO with Van Patten, was named chairman. He also is CEO of one division, YTB Marketing.
