AA and Farelogix extend technology deal for direct connect

American Airlines and Farelogix have extended their current agreement to seven years.

Under the new agreement, Farelogix will continue providing enhancements and support for American's direct connect.

American uses direct connect for delivering all of its content, including ancillary products such as seats with extra legroom.

Farelogix enabled American to distribute its Preferred Seats (window and aisle seats at the front of the cabin) through Priceline last summer.

The Farelogix agreement follows a series of victories for American in the courts giving legal support to its battle to use its direct connect for travel agency distribution.
