Travelport to enter mediation with American Airlines

Travelport will enter court-ordered mediation with American Airlines in May, following Sabre, which began court-ordered mediation with the carrier earlier this month.

Both GDSs' antitrust litigation with American continues.

Eric Bock, Travelport’s chief legal officer, revealed the news during Travelport's fourth quarter earnings call today, and said he hopes the mediation process "bears fruit."

A Sabre spokesperson said that Sabre began court-ordered mediation with the airlines "as part of the regular legal process.
