Triptelligent launches API for shore excursions

By Tom Stieghorst
Triptelligent, an online vendor of cruise shore excursions, said it has created an applications programming interface (API) that enables content to be viewed on partner websites, such as those of travel agencies.

With the API, Triptelligent’s descriptions, photos and traveler reviews of shore excursions can be viewed on an agent’s site without having to click away from that site.

“We’ve been getting a lot of requests for our content to be available via API and are pleased to have that ready now,” said Rinat Glinert, founder of Triptelligent.

Affiliate partners of Triptelligent have access to online documentation to help set up the API, as well as support from the Triptelligent technology department, the company said.
