Shopping at online travel agencies increases by 4% in May

The number of U.S. consumers shopping at online travel agencies grew 4% from the prior month but was virtually unchanged since last year, based on an analysis conducted by digital intelligence firm Compete.

Among the competitive set, only Priceline, Hotels.com, Expedia and Hotwire experienced traffic growth from last May. Priceline had the best year over year traffic growth performance (+34%) while Cheaptickets experienced the worst decline (-36%).
