Remote Lands becomes a Virtuoso preferred supplier

August 26, 2009

Remote Lands, an ultraluxury tour operator offering programs throughout Asia, joined the Virtuoso travel network as a preferred supplier. The firm said it looks forward to extending its "white-glove services" to Virtuoso's travel advisers and their high-net-worth clients.

Noting that Virtuoso members are considered the "world's foremost travel advisers," Remote Lands Co-founder and CEO Catherine Heald said clients would benefit from her company's "access to remarkable contacts around Asia" and from its highly personalized itineraries.

"We expect to greatly enhance our distribution with this new B2B approach and take Remote Lands to the next stage of development," she added.

Albert Herrera, Virtuoso vice president of hotels, destinations and tours, had high praise for Remote Lands.

"Their thoughtfully crafted, exclusive Asian adventures are exactly the type of high-caliber experiences that we are proud to present to our discerning clientele. [The firm] has continually raised the bar with its exemplary service, keen attention to detail and socially responsible practices, and we will be excited to watch them grow even more within the Virtuoso network."

Remote Lands has offices in New York and Bangkok. Its website is www.remotelands.com.
