Delta’s first fully consolidated published schedule that includes merged Northwest’s operations reveals adjustments to the carrier’s international network, starting new routes and restarting seasonal service.

The schedule also takes advantage of Delta’s joint venture with Air France-KLM and codeshare agreement with Alaska Airlines.

Some of Delta’s changes scheduled for June include:

• From Detroit, Delta will introduce nonstop service five times a week to Seoul and Hong Kong and expand service between Detroit and Shanghai to seven times weekly.

Delta has continued to position Detroit as a major gateway to Asia for passengers who travel between the U.S. East Coast and Asia.

• From Seattle, Delta is leveraging its partnership with Alaska Airlines with new, nonstop flights five times weekly to Beijing and daily to Osaka, Japan.

• Delta will resume seasonal, nonstop service between Tokyo and Salt Lake City, operating five times weekly.

• By June, the Delta-Air France-KLM joint venture will reintroduce seasonal service on more than a dozen transatlantic routes and will launch daily, nonstop service between New York and Copenhagen, Denmark; and Stockholm, Sweden.

Seasonal service restarts include additional daily flights between joint-venture hubs and added service to meet seasonal demand on routes such as Atlanta to Athens; Atlanta to Venice; New York to Zurich; and Detroit to Rome.

• Delta intends to serve as many as 10 African destinations from the U.S. next summer, including flights to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea; Monrovia, Liberia; Nairobi, Kenya; and Luanda, Angola. All the flights need U.S. and foreign government approvals.
