The number of U.S. consumers shopping at online travel agencies fell 10% in September compared to the prior month but grew 10% from last year, based on an analysis conducted by digital intelligence firm Compete.
Among the competitive set, only Cheaptickets, Orbitz & Travelocity experienced traffic losses from last September. Priceline had the best year over year traffic growth performance (+50%) while Cheaptickets experienced the worst decline (-40%).
