The 198-room Ramada Plaza Waikiki, a former Holiday Inn, has opened in Honolulu.

The renovated, 16-story hotel has a buffet restaurant serving Chinese and American food, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center.

The hotel is owned by Cal-Dynasty International, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Airlines (Taiwan’s flag carrier).
