After years of discussion and protests from some quarters over in-room pornography movies, Marriott has apparently decided to pull the plug on pay-per-view porn.
USA Today’s Hotel Check-In blog reports that adult content will be "off the menu" in Marriott’s new hotels and will eventually be phased out company-wide.
Marriott told Check-In reporter Barb De Lollis that decision coincides with a pending shift to new, in-room entertainment technology and a decrease in movie revenue as guests increasingly carry their own entertainment.
