Comment FAQs welcomes and encourages reader comments, which can be made about articles of all types, Travel Jonze blog posts and photographs and videos in the multimedia gallery. 1. Readers may post comments by creating a Disqus account or by using a Yahoo, Twitter or OpenID account. We ask for your email address as part of your login; however, your email address will not be posted on and will not be used for marketing or sales purposes. Your username will be posted with your comment.

2. Comments are moderated. Readers are encouraged to contribute helpful information, commentary and opinions.

3. reserves the right to decline to approve, or to edit or remove any and all comments from the site, at any time, for any reason, including comments that are off-topic; contain personal attacks, offensive or obscene language, including racist, homophobic or sexist remarks; contain advertising or commercial content; or are considered to be spam.

Please email the editors at if you see a comment that you believe contains offensive language, personal attacks and insults, off-topic rantings or other behavior that is not in keeping with intelligent and informed discourse. We will attempt to review the concern as soon as possible. However, we do not remove every comment that has been reported, nor can we respond individually to every report.

5. Comments are not routinely edited for content, grammar or spelling.

6. Comments may not be published immediately. Because we moderate our comments, most comments are subject to a short delay before they are approved. The lag time may be up to a few hours. Moderation does not take place on weekends or holidays.

7. Do not post repetitive comments; your comment may be in a holding queue waiting to be approved. We cannot respond individually to inquiries about if, or when, a comment will be approved.

8. We discourage commenters from posting personal information such as addresses, email addresses or telephone numbers, and we reserve the right to remove comments with personal information about other people.

9. will not remove or edit a comment that you regret posting.
