Hyatt opens hotel in Tajikistan's capital

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has opened the first internationally branded hotel in Tajikistan.

The 202-room Hyatt Regency Dushanbe, located in the city center, is close to Dushanbe's embassies, government offices and ministries. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Dushanbe International Airport

The guest rooms and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering mountain views of the Hisor range and surrounding peaks.

In-room amenities include 37-inch LCD televisions, broadband Internet and spacious bathrooms with bathtubs, rain showerheads and heated floors.

The hotel has more than 15,000 square feet of meeting space. A spa and fitness center are set to open in April.
