    Agents should never put gay clients in harm's way

    Thank you for a thoughtful column about Uganda's new anti-gay law. No travel agent should consider sending a gay client to Uganda, Nigeria, Iran or other countries, as it puts them in harm's way simply by being there. Even Belize has a law on the books that makes it illegal for a gay person to even enter the country. More»

    Boycotts are not likely to sway Uganda's leaders

    Regarding Arnie Weissmann's column "Do we boycott Uganda?" I agree with his statement that it's often better to remain engaged with a regime that enacts distasteful laws so as to keep the subject in the press and make everyone continue to debate the issues. However, there does come a point where a more forceful approach is called for, such as a boycott. More»
