ECBC's own "Fastpass" system makes for speedy security checks as well as easy access to your laptop.     The latest product from Magellan, the Smart GPS, uniquely combines a typical direction-determining GPS and a smartphone to push real-time and local information from Yelp and Foursquare to the device's 5-inch screen. The screen also displays local fuel prices, traffic updates and area weather. Moreover, in-depth destination searches for points of interest and addresses can be downloaded directly from your phone to the Smart GPS via a WiFi or Bluetooth connection.

    According to the manufacturer, Zylast antimicrobial products such as its alcohol-based Antiseptic, its water-based Antiseptic Lotion and skin moisturizer and its Antiseptic Foaming Soap are formulated to "kill 99.99% of common microbes on the hands immediately ... [and] the Zylast Antiseptic was shown to kill 99.97% of norovirus on contact -- more than 100 times as effective as alcohol alone." Does it really work? A host of references from labs and medical journals and a recent test in a Chatsworth, Calif., school seems to indicate it does.
