    The year-old-old Nizuc Resort & Spa in Punta Nizuc, Mexico, is the flagship property of the Nizuc luxury brand, part of Mexico City-based Las Brisas Hotel Collection's portfolio of seven resorts.     The word Nizuc (nik-ZOOK) means "nose of the dog" and it describes the shape of the peninsula along the Laguna Nichupte, flanked by two beaches with a view of the Mesoamerican Reef and the high-rise resorts of Cancun in the distance.
