The Rezidor Hotel Group is poised to open the Radisson Blu 1835 Hotel & Thalasso in Cannes, France, this month. The 134-room hotel is the former 1835 White Palm Hotel. Situated in the old quarter of Le Suquet and overlooking the harbor, the property is within walking distance of Palais des Festivals et Congres, where the annual Cannes Film Festival is held.

The hotel underwent an extensive renovation in 2009. It will offer six meetings rooms, three restaurants and a rooftop bar. Facilities include the Les Thermes Marins de Cannes spa, a 8,850-square-foot facility featuring 46 treatment rooms, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, Roman bath and whirlpools.

In addition to Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts, Residor operates Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It also operates the Hotel Missoni brand.
