IHG appoints COO for Americas region
By Danny King

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) tapped Bob Morse, former chief operating officer for Noble Investment Group and Interstate Hotels & Resorts, to be chief operating officer of the Americas region.
Morse will join IHG next month and succeeds Angela Brav, who is now president of IHG’s Europe operations.
IHG’s Americas region accounts for about three-quarters of the more than 4,500 hotels in IHG's worldwide portfolio.
Morse had been with Noble Investment Group for seven years, most recently as chief operating officer. Noble merged with Interstate last October.
