Two American Marketing Group brands announced the appointments of sales and business development staff.
The Network of Entrepreneurs Selling Travel named Kathy Humen its sales director. Humen is responsible for increasing the group's membership of home-based travel agents around the country and developing new business initiatives.
She most recently served as a managing partner for FaceTime Strategy, a marketing company that handled direct and email marketing, public relations and database management for clients in the travel, retail and tanning industries. Prior to that, Humen held positions at Sabre Holdings.
Travelsavers named Lauren Beardsley its business development director for the Western U.S., charged with increasing agency membership and bringing the group's strategic business-building programs to independent travel agencies throughout the region.
Beardsley has more than 20 years of sales and marketing success in the travel industry. Most recently, she served as director of group sales and director of marketing for two consortia owned by Sabre Holdings. She also was part owner of Trip Shop, a retail agency, and Caribbean Concepts, a wholesaler.
