airports will not be Y2K-compliant in time for the new millennium.
Flash forward to Jan. 1, 2000: "May I have your attention, please.
Flight 123 to Los Angeles, scheduled to depart at 12:30 a.m.,
apparently left already -- in the year 1900. We apologize for the
AAA announced that it doesn't expect to reach its previously
stated goal of $5 billion in sales in 2000. The reason: the
agency's deliberately trying to reduce the percentage of its total
sales that are air tickets. No pain no gain, AAA.
