Brides magazine's 75th anniversary in 2009 will begin on a high note, a mile-high note, when it turns Rockefeller Center's historic observation deck into a luxurious bridal suite for a couple of deserving newlyweds.
The Brides' editorial team, which will design the suite, is asking newlyweds to visit BridesMileHighSuite.com "to share what makes their love story special and why they haven't had the honeymoon of their dreams." The contest runs through Jan. 9.
The winning couple will sleep in the suite at the Top of the Rock the night of Jan. 27 before embarking on an all-expenses-paid honeymoon in Bora Bora, French Polynesia.
Air Tahiti Nui, Tahiti Tourisme North America and the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, where the couple will spend six nights in an overwater bungalow, will furnish the Tahiti adventure.
The suite at the Top of the Rock will be open to the public during daytime operating hours on Jan. 27 and Jan. 28.
