Just when the gaming industry looked like it was about to emerge
from the tar pit of tackiness in which it has been mired for so
long, up pops the specter of Jethro's Beverly Hillbillies Mansion
and Casino.
The proposed 321-room Reno resort is the brainchild of erstwhile
actor Max Baer Jr., who played dumb-as-a-box-of-rocks Jethro on the
CBS television series, "The Beverly Hillbillies." Rumors of the
proposed venture have been floating around for some time, but now
that New York investment banking firm Westwood Capital LLC has
hopped on board, this thing may actually get off the ground.
Baer's concept is rife with sophomoric sexual innuendo, mostly
involving nubile Ellie May's various anatomical attributes and none
of which rise above the level of single entendre (the innuendo, not
the attributes).

our free-market economy and the highest regard for my fellow man's
right to turn a legal buck when and where he can. That being said,
there ought to be a law.
