Corinthia Hotels is wooing Europe-bound prospective newlyweds with new honeymoon packages at its properties in Malta, Lisbon and St. Petersburg.
In Malta, the chain is offering a seven-night honeymoon stay at the five-star Corinthia Hotel San Anton priced from $2,100 per couple through Oct. 31 and $1,790 per couple Nov. 1 to March 31.
Rates include luxury car airport transfers in Malta, a welcome drink upon arrival and deluxe Honeymoon Suite accommodations, with sparkling wine and handmade chocolate in-room amenity and daily breakfast on the suite terrace. Also included: two dinners (an Asian meal at the hotel's Rickshaw Restaurant and a four-course dinner in its 100-year-old Corinthia Room) and free use of the spa and fitness facilities.
At another five-star Corinthia property, the Corinthia Hotel Lisbon, a Honeymoon package is available through Dec. 31 and costs $1,848 per couple for two nights in the hotel's romantic Sky Suite, all taxes included.
After an airport limousine pick-up, honeymooning guests enjoy flowers, champagne and strawberries with chocolate on arrival; daily in-room breakfast; and a candlelit dinner in their suite complete with a bottle of wine, beer or soft drinks. Also provided: aromatic candles, massage oils and bath foam in abundance.
Last but not least, the five-star Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg (Corinthia Nevskij Palace Hotel) is peddling one-night honeymoon stays priced at $542 per couple through Dec. 31. The rate includes executive suite accommodations, with flowers; a complimentary fruit basket and bottle of Russian sparkling wine on arrival; a "sweet surprise"; breakfast and free use of the hotel fitness center.
