Why did Delta impose a $1 surcharge on bookings not made through
its Web site? Why is an agency liable when a ticket stolen from it
is honored by an airline? Why does staying over a Saturday night
often fractionalize one's air fare? Why do hotels, in their efforts
to provide all the comforts of home, equip bathrooms with timed
heat lamps, which I've never seen in anyone's home? Why are so few
people able to pronounce "nuclear" correctly? Why did Ford make the
Aspire? Why can't we all just get along? Why do dogs walk in a
circle before they lie down? Why can't Michael Jordan make up his
mind? Why aren't polkas more popular? Why can't you wear white
after Labor Day? Some things we cannot know.
