Oitavos, a five-star hotel and spa, will open this summer in Portugal. Located about 20 miles west of Lisbon, the hotel is set within the Sintra Cascais National Park and adjacent to the Arthur Hills-designed Oitavos Dunes golf course.
The property will have 142 guestrooms, including 14 suites. A conference center will accommodate up to 300 people, and there will be five additional meetings rooms.

• Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok opened in July with an introductory rate of about $240 per night. Guests who stay two consecutive nights will receive a third night free. • Tidhar Group and Adi's Marina announced the development of the Residences at the Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya, a luxury condominium project located north of Tel Aviv on the Mediterranean coast.
The $160 million project is co-owned by Tidhar Group and Adi's Marina. The 12-story property will feature a Ritz-Carlton hotel in which the top six floors are the Residences at the Ritz-Carlton. The hotel and residences are pegged for a 2012 opening.
The property is being designed by architect Rani Ziss, whose projects include the renewal of the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan, and Studio Gaia, a New York-based interior design firm that has worked on some of the finest hotels and residences in the world.
