Galileo's new product, FocalpointNet (FocalpointNet, FocalpointNet
-- say it 10 times fast), will give Galileo and Apollo agents full
CRS capabilities through an Internet connection, letting them
toggle between the CRS and the Web; set up a workstation with no
additional wiring other than a standard modem connection, and
potentially lower communications costs. When queried about this
innovation, Dinah Saur of Stone Age Travel said "Bah! If I want
Windows, I'll go to Home Depot."
According to the Dallas Morning News, airline pilots are being
warned that Viagra might impair their ability to see instrument
displays and airport runway lamps. "Passengers, I'll be... I mean,
WE'LL be rising to an altitude of 32,000 feet today. Or is that
22,000 feet? Hey, Bill, what's that readout say?"
The National Transportation Safety Board encouraged cruise lines
to check their vessels' ventilation systems for combustible
materials like lint. I would add that lines should require crew
members to check their belly buttons and in between their toes for
lint, as well. Hey, this is fire safety we're talking about. One
can't be too careful.
