Best Western International, the official hotel of Nascar, is taking entries from married couples who believe their devotion to Nascar -- and to each other -- makes them deserving of an all-expenses-paid trip to the Nascar Spring All-Star Race and a wedding vow renewal ceremony during the race.
Driver Michael Waltrip, a two-time Daytona 500 winner, will preside over the vow renewal ceremony during the 25th running of the race on May 16 in Charlotte, N.C.
The winning couple will receive roundtrip airfare to Charlotte, lodging, tickets to the race, local transportation and a $1,000 travel card to be used at any Best Western property.
"Nascar fans are some of the most passionate in sports, and that passion extends to other areas of their lives, including travel and family," said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Best Western International. "We want to help a lucky couple add a truly special snapshot to their photo albums as they ring in the 25th running of this great race."
Interested couples must submit their entries by April 27 on the Best Western Racing "All-Star" Couple promotional site at www.bestwestern.com/allstarcouple. A Best Western panel of judges, including Waltrip, will judge entries.
