I come from a long line of people who don't like to wait on lines.
Not at the supermarket. Not at the airport. Not to meet the Pope.
Consequently, I've never been to Walt Disney World. I've had
great times at other Orlando attractions, though. Gator wrestling:
short lines (unless the gator's winning). The Peabody Hotel Duck
March: They line up, you don't. But those fond memories don't make
up for having missed out on the wonderful world of Disney.
So I'm happy to report that in its best, better-mousetrap
tradition, Disney has come up with a solution for people like me.
An experimental reservations system has been put into place on some
of Disney World's most popular rides. Once reservations are made
using guests' admission tickets, all they have to do is show up at
the appointed time.
Mickey, old man, my ears are off to ya'.
