Pinch yourself

Northwest said it's protecting agent commissions on tickets that were refunded during its pilots strike, illustrating just how fair and considerate an airline can be toward the retail community that helps fill its seats. In other news, hell froze over, and pigs flew.

Disney Cruise Line's VP of sales and passenger services, John Severini, explaining why the line unbundled its air/sea fares, said some travelers don't understand that the fares include air, and "people think we are more expensive than we are." Wish I could figure out what was bundled with that overpriced Pepsi I once had at the bar in the Grand Floridian.

Well, it's been one year since the airlines imposed the last round of commission cuts. What should we do to celebrate? I know, let's all get together, have a few drinks and worry about when the next round is coming.
