Ruby Princess' godparents get a gig with the cruise line

Princess gets sentimental on Facebook

Princess Cruises launched an online community on Facebook to renew its connections with past "Love Boat" passengers, according to the cruise line.

Called "I'm a Princess Cruises Romantic," the group lets passengers share their love stories and moments from their Princess cruise vacation.

The cruise line urges group members to post their personal stories, photos and videos on the site and engage in discussions about romance-related topics.

Trista and Ryan Sutter have joined Princess’ online Department of Romance as relationship advisers.

The Sutters, who met and married on ABC's "The Bachelorette," celebrated their fifth anniversary by christening the Ruby Princess in November.

"We've seen firsthand the romantic ambience of a Princess cruise, and we look forward to offering our tips for helping couples reconnect and make romance a priority," said Trista Sutter.

The couple live in Vail, Colo., with their son, Max, and are awaiting the birth of a daughter this spring.

According to Princess, the Department of Romance is "a tribute to the company's decades-long legacy as the setting for the iconic TV show ‘The Love Boat.’ "

Department of Romance contributors include actor Gavin MacLeod, who played Captain Stubing on "The Love Boat" series; couples therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer; and destination wedding expert and author Lisa Light.

Throughout the year, the department will feature an array of topics, advice and points of view on everything from reinvigorating romance to tips on planning a destination wedding.
