Dear United and American,
I received your letter of apology and I'm glad you finally
decided to make things right between us. Our relationship has been
such a rollercoaster ride for so long.
I know that you care about me because you've told me so. I know
you don't always act like it but I believe you really do care. It's
just that I think you have some issues to work out before we can
get back together.
Please try to understand that I'm saying this for your own good.
I think you need some professional help. Somebody who can help you
figure out why, when you tell me how much you value our
relationship, you continue to hold back.
All the letters I've written you only to be ignored. All the
calls you never returned. Have you ever sat by the phone and just
waited, hoping against hope that this would be the call, but the
call never comes?
Well I have, and I feel that if I jump right back into this
relationship I'll be letting myself in for more of the same thing.
Maybe you'll change. Let's give it some time. Meanwhile, please
think about what I've said. You know I feel about you the same way
you feel about me. I'll write again soon. I promise.
