Slopes are still open at Whistler's Horstman Glacier

CAN-HorstmanGlacierFor clients who literally cannot wait for winter, Horstman Glacier at Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia is open for business through July 26.

The summer glacier is a good fit for intermediate to advanced skiers and riders, and visitors should not be surprised to see top winter sports athletes, such as Olympic Gold medalist Jennifer Heil and TransWorld Snowboarding's Reader's Choice snowboarder of the year Marie-France Roy, sharing the slopes with them.

Lift tickets are priced at $54 with discounts for multiple days and for children.

The longevity of the season is all the more amazing when you consider that Whistler Blackcomb is typically open for spring skiing into May and, depending on the weather, sometimes into June.
