Those of you attending the 1999 ASTA World Travel Congress in
Strasbourg are probably getting revved up by all of the invitations
coming your way. It would be hard not to be excited at this point.
There should be a lot to learn, contacts to be made, friendships
to be forged and renewed.
We're gearing up for the event here at Crossroads as well. I'll
be arriving in Strasbourg on Nov. 6, along with a cadre of Travel
Weekly editors. All of us will spend the following week bringing
those of you back home as much of the ASTA experience as we
Look to Crossroads every day of the Congress for breaking news,
on-line editions of Travel Management Convention Daily, Alan
Fredericks' commentaries on the Traveling page and, of course, my
scribblings from The Window Seat.
I'm looking forward to meeting many of you there. And for those
of you holding down the fort, you'll know what's happening as soon
as we do.
