SuperClubs launches honeymoon registry


SuperClubs has raised the bar for destination wedding and honeymoon packages by introducing two cost-saving features at its all-inclusive locations.

In June, the company launched an online wedding and honeymoon registry at It works like other honeymoon registries and is available at 10 SuperClubs resorts in the Bahamas, Brazil, Curacao, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

Gifts range from a $40 tray of chocolate-covered fruit to $1,000 in air upgrades. Some other gift ideas from the website are an upgrade to a honeymoon suit, breakfast in bed, a massage and a candlelight dinner. Couples receive a website dedicated to their wedding, among other online amenities.

In another move, SuperClubs is continuing its absorption of government and administrative fees for weddings at the same 10 resorts, for a savings of up to $300 per couple.

The fee waiver is for those staying seven nights or longer at Breezes Bahamas, Breezes Costa Do Sauipe in Brazil, Breezes Curacao, Breezes Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Breezes Montego Bay, Breezes Runaway Bay, Grand Lido Braco, Grand Lido Negril, Hedonism II and Hedonism III, all in Jamaica.

Government and administration fees for stays less than seven nights are as follows: Bahamas, $275; Brazil, $225; Curacao, $300; Dominican Republic, $300; Jamaica, $200.
