TI lets wedding couples have it their way

At Treasure Island in Las Vegas, wedding couples can get the wedding they want and can afford with a new package that lets them mix-and-match from a menu of services.

The Wedding a la Carte package starts at $200. The basic plan features a 30-minute ceremony conducted by a nondenominational minister and accompanied by classical music. Couples can add and combine options from a preset menu to create a customized nuptial or commitment ceremony, which can be a budget-friendly alternative to the standard wedding package. The plan includes a wedding coordinator to help couples choose the services that best fit their style and pocketbook.

Among the choices are a stay at one of TI’s recently remodeled rooms, a DVD of the nuptials and a live wedding feature that enables friends and family at home to view the ceremony on the web as it happens.

Preset packages are available. A traditional wedding comes with keepsakes, a bridal bouquet and a DVD of the ceremony. A more contemporary take features such options as his and her robes, a bottle of champagne and a suite in which to celebrate.

“The beauty of our new Wedding a la Carte menu is that couples get exactly the wedding they want without paying for any of the services they don’t,” said Maxine Pipkin, wedding chapel manager.
