The monster that Joe Vittoria built, Travel Services International,
launched a huge consumer advertising campaign -- maybe you've seen
the ads already; I have -- to publicize its brand name, The Travel
Company. It has to make a big splash with these ads, too, because
the company has one of those names that's so easy to remember that
nobody can ever seem to remember it.
This year, the massive ITB trade show in Berlin will feature,
for the first time, two days set aside for the trade only. The
focus of the first day will be sobbing. Day 2 will mostly be the
same, but will add wailing and creative swearing.
