PACIFIC DELIGHT World Tours expanded its offerings of single-city packages. The new additions are packages for Saigon, Vietnam; Bali, Indonesia and Hong Kong. The Saigon Sojourn is a seven-day/five-night program with accommodations at the Omni Saigon Hotel and a full-day city tour. Its priced from $999 to $1,419 per person, double. Bali Vistas is an eight-day/six-night program priced from $1,059 to $1,619 per person, double. Hong Kong Supervalue is priced from $869 to $1,528. Its a seven-day/five-night program. KER & DOWNEY is expanding its selection of India programs with six new wildlife and culture safaris. Most of the programs are approximately two weeks in length, with one called Bhutan Bliss that is a six-night cultural tour priced from $2,144. (All prices are per person, double.) Majestic India begins in Mumbai and features three days in Sasan Gir, which is home to more than 300 Asiatic lions. The starting price is $6,469. Mystical India focuses on the Taj Mahal and Jaipur, the Pink City and the Amber Fort. Its priced from $8,281. Royal India travels through Keoladeo Ghana Sanctuary in Bharatpur with a stop at the Devi Garb Fort Palace. The price starts at $7,667. Southern Sojourn focuses on wildlife at Rajiv Ghandi National Park, the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The starting price is $6,371.  The Wonders of India also focuses on wildlife in Kaziranga National Park and Kanha National Park. The price starts at $7,389. RESPONDING TO AN INCREASE in demand for its India programs, Abercrombie & Kent opened a destination management office in Jaipur, India. According to A&K President George Morgan-Grenville, the company has seen a 217% increase in its India business in 2005 over the previous year. Morgan-Grenville said the increase in popularity is driven in part by the development of high-end hotels. A&Ks new office offers cultural experiences as well as wildlife adventures, according to the company. A&K also has offices in Delhi and Agra.

THE THIRD GLOBAL SUMMIT on Peace Through Tourism, which will be held at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort in Pattaya, Thailand, Oct. 2-5, will include a session to discuss a sustained travel industry response to the social and economic revitalization of the regions affected by last years tsunami. Featured keynote speakers on the panel include representatives of government tourism bodies from Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, the Maldives and Indonesia. CHINA SOUTHERN AIRLINES expanded its route system to three cities of Inner Mongolia: Hailar, Manzhouli and Xilin Hot. The three cities comprise what is known as the Golden Triangle of the Grasslands. The airline now provides service from its hub in Guangzhou to Hailar on Thursdays and Sundays, to Manzhouli on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and Xilinhot on Mondays and Fridays. Routes to all three cities will have stops in Hohhot.
