preparing for a surge in business following the recently completed
season of the TV show Survivor. Palau was the setting of the CBS
series. Traffic on the Palau Visitors Authority Web site has
skyrocketed from 1,000 hits a month prior to the show to nearly 7
million in February, according to the authoritys director, Mary Ann
Delanel. The visitors authority coordinated an effort among local

ABERCROMBIE & KENT opened a
destination-management office in Beijing, its first in mainland
China. A&K opened the office in response to increased demand
for travel in China, which is up 48% this year, according to
