TOURISM ASSOCIATIONS from the Kosovo area have created the Kosovo Tourist Association, or KOTAS, in order to promote tourism to the region. KOTAS, which was established in partnership with the German development agency GTZ, will work with other tourism entities to coordinate activities and promotions. The new office will support the Department of Tourism within the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

THE HOTEL RIVERTON in Goteborg, Sweden, a member of the WorldHotels First Class Collection, unveiled a renovation of 36 guest rooms featuring contemporary Scandinavian design. CLIENTS WHO BUY A RAIL PASS from Rail Europe before June 30 will receive a credit of 25% of the purchase price towards another European rail product booked later this year. The second purchase must be made by Dec. 15 and must have a value of at least double the credit; travel on rail passes can take place up to six months after booking.
