New Chefs of 2004 will make appearances at the culinary event, Nov.
3 to 7 on the Kohala Coast. The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel will host

THE FOUR
SEASONS RESORT MAUI will host the annual Terry Fox charity
event, featuring a run/walk, an auction, and a dinner that will
benefit cancer research. Dec. 4 will begin with a 10K run/5K walk,

UNITED
AIRLINES will start flying nonstop from Chicago to Maui on
Dec. 16, 2004. The flight will continue on to Kona. The Boeing 777
will seat 348 and will depart O'Hare at 10 a.m., arriving in
Kahului, Maui, at 2:51 p.m.. The plane will then continue to Kona
at 4 p.m. and land at 4:40 p.m. The departure from Kona to Chicago
will be at 6:00 p.m., arriving at 5:54 a.m. the following morning.
United relaunched daily nonstop service between Chicago and
Honolulu on June 3.
AMERICAN
AIRLINES dropped the number of AAvantage miles needed to
fly to Hawaii by 5,000. Those traveling between the dates of Sept.
7 and Nov. 18 can use 30,000 miles for an economy class ticket
between anywhere in North America (Canada, Caribbean and Mexico
