UNIONIZED EMPLOYEES at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa and the four Sheraton hotels in Waikiki have authorized a strike should current negotiations for a new contract prove fruitless. The employees, who are members of Unite Here Local 5, have been working without a contract since June 30.

THE KAANAPLI BEACH HOTEL has introduced the five-night Maui Adventure package, valid through Dec. 31. The package includes a compact rental car, and adventure and entertainment options for $1,880 per room, double. Other package options include the Beauty and the Beach package, which includes daily breakfast, midsize rental car and massage and activity options for $1,270 per room, double, through Dec. 17. HAWAIIAN AIRLINES AND HARMONY AIRWAYS of Canada have announced code-share and interline e-ticketing agreements.
