PARKER RANCH: The Big Island's Parker Ranch added sporting clays to its list of outdoor-related activities. Five shooters can simultaneously aim at clay pigeons released from 7 different throwers. Ten rounds is the required minimum, at 25 targets per round. Each round costs $25. The Parker Ranch also offers year-round hunting of game like boar, goat and bull. "ARTS WITH ALOHA," an organization backed by the Honolulu Academy of Arts, released its January-to-March lineup of visual and performing arts events throughout Hawaii. Events beginning in January include Stomp, the Shanghai Circus, First Friday's Gallery Walk and Romeo and Juliet, performed by the Honolulu Symphony. February brings about Neo Rauch's works from the Leipziger Volkszettung Collection, Mark Pinkosh's one-man comedy show "Haole Boy," a Hawaiian music concert series and Miss Saigon. TEE TIME: January will be dubbed "Aloha Swing" month on the Golf Channel, which will devote coverage to Hawaii's multiple golf events as well as the islands themselves as a destination for golfers. Four pro events take place during the month, two on Oahu, one on the Big Island and one on Maui.
