"LOKAHI: WELLNESS IN PARADISE": The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa partnered with the Maui Wellness Institute to offer a weekly program at the hotel's Spa Moana entitled "Lokahi: Wellness in Paradise." Sessions include "A Journey to the Fountain of Youth," "How to Manage Weight Without Dieting," and "Omni-Rejuvination and Guided Imagery." KAANAPALI BEACH HOTEL: The Kaanapali Beach Hotel is offering a winter package inspired by the humpback whales that migrate past western Maui shores each year. From January through the end of April, couples can stay at the property for five nights in a partial oceanview room, drive a rental car for duration of stay, get daily breakfast, go on a whale-watching cruise, gain admission to the Maui Ocean Center and get tickets to a Hawaiian dinner show for $1,300 per couple. ROMANCE: The Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa hired a director of romance, Teresa Martin, who will oversee all wedding-related events at the Maui property. Martin began a South Asian wedding program for the Hilton brand in Texas, which was adopted statewide. She has organized events for former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev and President George W. NORTH AMERICAN AIRLINES announced introductory fares of $99 one-way between Oakland and Maui or Honolulu to kick off their new service.
