TRAVEL COUNSELLORS, a
host agency with 740 home-based agents, said industry veteran Peter
Rasmussen is its new general manager. Rasmussen previously was an
executive with Auto Europe. He takes over from former president
Graeme Clarke, who is developing a tour operating program and a
range of propriety products that will be available exclusively to
Travel Counsellors. The agency operates in the U.S. and the U.K.
THE TRAVEL
INSTITUTE added benefits to its certified travel associate
program. CTA candidates can now participate in free online reviews
of the eight core courses as well as a test preparation session
with an institute facilitator. Additionally, candidates now have
access to a special section of the Travel Institute discussion
board where they can ask questions and share ideas. After earning
