HOME-BASED
AGENTS in New Jersey will opportunities to network with
suppliers and other industry players this winter, as the states
Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN) chapter hosts a variety of
open meetings. Frank Hryszkanich, chapter director and owner of
Travel, Ports & Voyages, in Old Bridge, invites all home-based
retailers to attend, even nonmembers of OSSN.
AMONG THE SEMINARS coming up are:
* Jan. 26, 6:30 p.m.: Vacation.com and
Trams/Client Ease Technology program.
* Feb. 7, 6:30 p.m.: Disney World and Disney
Cruise Lines.
* Feb. 23, 6:30 p.m.: Fiji Visitors Bureau with
Pacific Holidays, Air Pacific and Blue Lagoon Cruises.
The cost for each program is $6.50 per agent; $10 at the door.

THROUGH THE PORT HOLE
Aruba Cruise Tourism will install four information and
survey kiosks at the island's cruise terminal and will position
cruise greeters at the terminal to offer additional services to
visiting cruise passengers. The kiosks, which will be equipped with
touch-screen access to information, a DVD and video on the island
and surveys in various languages, are the first of their kind in
the Caribbean.
