MAGICIAN STEVE WYRICK signed a multiyear, $30 million agreement with the Shops in Desert Passage at the Aladdin to develop a 22,000-square-foot, multilevel entertainment complex that will include a 500-seat theater, an ultralounge and a magic shop. The Steve Wyrick Entertainment complex is slated to open by the end of the year. Its first floor will feature Triq, an ultralounge with DJ performances nightly, signature drinks, appetizers and desserts, and the second level will house Wyricks theater complete with stadium seating. The facility also will include Flavour, where visitors can get a quick bite to eat, and Magiq, where fans can buy easy-to-learn magic tricks as well as items from Wyricks signature line of clothing.

FANS OF THE VH1 reality series Strip Search can see the shows seven finalists perform in American Storm, which recently premiered at the Riviera Hotel & Casino. The production, which features Adam Wynne, Ryan Westerburg, Josh Hall, Rick DeJesus, Sean Cassidy, Terry Cress and Tony Cress, takes audience members through the nations history, beginning with the voyages of Christopher Columbus, through the days of cowboys, Al Capone and the 1960s and ending with a salute to the armed forces. American Storm is performed in the Crazy Girls Showroom at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Mondays with additional shows at 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. SOUTHWEST AIRLINES added three flights to its Las Vegas schedule, bringing the carriers number of daily flights from the city to 201. The airline added two daily nonstop flights between Las Vegas and San Diego for a total of 14 daily flights and added one daily nonstop flight between Las Vegas and Oakland for a total of 13 daily flights from that Bay Area city.
